Jeremy Gruber

Jeremy is the Senior Vice President at Open Primaries. He is a lawyer, writer, and nationally recognized public policy advocate who has helped enact over 60 state and federal laws and regulations protecting American rights from corporate and government intrusion. These include the successful passage of the first U.S. civil rights law in over twenty years, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), a federal law protecting Americans from genetic discrimination.
He has wide ranging experience in public policy and public affairs work, public education, coalition and grassroots building. He has testified before the U.S. Congress, the FDA, and numerous state and federal legislative and regulatory bodies.
Jessie Fields
Harlem
Dr. Jessie Fields is a primary care Harlem physician who, after growing up in a segregated South Philadelphia Black neighborhood, became a doctor to serve such communities.
Julia Ricci
Brooklyn
Julia has lent her artistic skills and impassioned voice to multiple community-based organizations, such as Open Primaries, a grassroots organization centered around non-partisan political reform; IlluminArt, an educational organization focused on empowering students to create conversations for positive change through art; and Art Lab at Snug Harbor, a long-valued institution of the arts community of Staten Island.
Julia self-published her debut graphic novel, The Lives of Frogs: Greg, in 2025.
